Our aim is to teach children and young people the good news of Jesus Christ through Bible based teaching and activities.
Sundays:
Creche : Babies and Toddlers (0-3+)
Our crèche provides a quiet, friendly atmosphere where parents and carers can leave their children during the morning service. It has 2 CRB-cleared helpers and meets in the Crèche room behind the church while the older children have their teaching groups. Parents and carers are free to stay or return to the service. It provides a variety of toys for all ages and, where appropriate, activities such as reading stories and colouring.
Rainbows: Children age 3+ - 5
Our Rainbows are in the morning service for about 15 minutes and then go to the Rainbow room off the Memorial Hall behind the church. Through stories, craft, colouring, games and songs, they learn more about Jesus.
JAM – Jesus and Me: Children age 6-10
Jam meets during the morning service except the second Sunday of each month (when there is an all-age service). The children participate in the main service for 15 minutes and then go to their room behind the church for Jam. Activities include exploring the Bible together, drama, games, craft and quizzes.
Sunday Youth Group: Young People Year 7+ (age 11 -16)
SYG meets during morning service (except on the second Sunday of each month when there is an all-age service) to discover and deepen faith through Bible exploration and discussion.
Midweek:
Thursday Music Group: instrumentalists and singers (age 12 – 16)
The Music Group meets in the Church from 8-9 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month during term time. This is an opportunity to practise for Sunday worship, play old favourites and learn new worship songs.
Friday 90° Youth Club: 11-18 (Year 7+)
This meets every Friday during term time from 7.15 – 8.45 pm in the Memorial Hall behind the church.
